Haley Montgomery is a singer-songwriter and San Diego native who has been sharing her vocal talent on a national scale since she was 18. Haley’s dynamic pop/rock melodies highlight her strong voice and bright vocal color, creating a sound unique within the indie-pop genre. Her instrumental arrangements and mature guitar tones (a la Ryan Adams, Jimmy Eat World, Manchester Orchestra) provide a powerful backdrop for her beautifully intimate and raw lyrics that explore the complexities of faith. Haley has released two EPs and one full-length album, which she has played in venues locally and across the nation.
Haley’s released her latest album, Confessions, with producer Brian Eichelberger (Citizens & Saints, Kings Kaleidoscope), revealing an honesty and vulnerability in her songwriting unprecedented in all of her previous work. Confessions is a collection of songs that dives into profound depths of honesty and lament over questions of doubt and tension felt on this side of heaven, and in contrast, songs of hope and perspective that aim to bring freedom to the sojourner.
